Báite Screening with Special Guest Eleanor O’Brien

There will be a wine reception and red carpet in Belltable to welcome lead actress Eleanor O’Brien to our 8pm Báite screening. After the film she will be taking part in a post show Q&A facilitated by Dr. Jenny McMahon. Tickets are limited so book now to secure your seat!
Eleanor O’Brien is a Limerick-born theatre and film actress whose credits include The Last Right, Fair City, and Blasts from the Past. She has become a familiar part of Limerick City’s arts scene through her performances at Lime Tree Theatre. She has appeared in three Lime Tree Theatre pantomimes — Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, and Rapunzel.
In Báite, Eleanor O’Brien plays Peggy Casey, a 23-year-old who runs her family’s pub in a rural Gaeltacht village in 1975. Peggy is determined to keep the pub going against her siblings’ wishes to sell, and the discovery of a body in the lake threatens both her livelihood and the wider community.
