Revisiting the Banshee
Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival
Michael Fortune & Aileen Lambert
Presented by The GAFF
Twenty years after The Banshee Lives in the Handball Alley won the hearts of audiences across Ireland and beyond, artists Michael Fortune and Aileen Lambert return with Revisiting the Banshee, a new collection of folklore on film featuring stories told by children from St. Mary’s School, Bishop St. and Thomond Primary School in Limerick in 2025.

The GAFF and Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival are delighted to present a compilation representing just some of the folklore, recorded from 4th and 5th class students in the two schools. The new 40 minute film is presented with an introduction from the artists as well as a glimpse into the original film.
