In this special evening of music and storytelling, Phelim Drew plays tribute to the legacy of Ronnie Drew and his fellow Dubliners Luke Kelly, Barney McKenna, Ciaran Bourke and John Sheahan. Blending folk classics with other musical influences that shaped their distinctive sound, the performance offers a rich and affectionate reflection on the songs and stories that defined an era.
Audiences are invited on a heartfelt journey through music and memory, celebrating the spirit, humour and enduring influence of Ronnie Drew and the band.
The night is made up of a mixture of folk and other forms of musical that helped to make Ronnie and the lads so unique. The hope is to take the audience on a journey that they will enjoy as much as I will in sharing these experiences in songs and stories.” Phelim Drew
