Puppet-Making Workshop
Presented by Limerick Early Music Festival
LEMF welcomes puppeteer Rose Minnema who brings medieval puppets and marionettes to the festival this year. Rose will guide festival guests in a puppet-making workshop just ahead of the afternoon’s interactive family concert. Everyone will leave with their very own puppet or marionette!
Suitable for age 7 – 12 yrs.
Puppet-Making Workshop
In this workshop we will make a scarf puppet. As the theme is early music, we will embellish the puppets with medieval and renaissance elements. At the end there will be an opportunity to play together with the puppets.
Not only will this workshop provide an introduction to making scarf puppets, but it will also inspire ideas for making more puppets at home.
