One of Ireland’s most celebrated pipers, Mickey Dunne is steeped in the Traveller music tradition of his family, spending his youth travelling around playing music at various Fleadhs, Munster finals and Galway races.
Inspired by his father Paddy who was a great fiddle player, he has in turn passed the music on to his daughters Niamh and Bríd, both of whom are also very well-known accomplished musicians. This is sure to be an unmissable concert for all fans of traditional Irish music.
