GUT
Presented by Torch Players
Who is safe? How do you know? What if you’re wrong? When it comes down to it, how strong is anyone’s gut? Especially when it revolves around the test of being a parent.
In Gut we watch a devoted mum of a young boy, spiral out of control following a lapse in judgement from her mother-in-law. Fear and doubt consume her, until she reaches a savage breaking point illustrating the damage that doubt can do to someone’s mental health.
A tense and emotional work, GUT explores the idea that if we succumb to our anxieties, we could become a more significant and tangible threat to each other than the faceless strangers of our nightmares.
