Comóradh Exhibition Opening TravFest
Through the gathering of artefacts and discussion that provide a glimpse into the lives of those who have passed on, loved ones will be remembered.
Processes including painting, photography, printing and assemblage, culminating in each participant’s final art work, exhibiting in the Belltable gallery space for one month.
The completed works will aim to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote community healing. This exhibition will showcase the work of up to 15 Traveller women and will be guided by visual artist, Melanie O’Rourke, through workshops in the Learning Hub in Kileely.
