Waterford playwright Jim Nolan’s poignant, but wonderfully uplifting play Brighton takes the ordinary story of three people and becomes a major belief in miracles, human support and comfort.

Set in present day London, we meet the never say die widow, Lily Thompson, celebrated actor Jack Dunhill, paralysed from the waist down, lamenting a modest career and a lifetime of regrets and the almost too cheery care assistant Dave.

Brighton is a thoughtful but funny salute to survival as a sometimes small but significant statement, where regrets are put aside and even hopeless cases have their time to shine.
