Festival dates are now confirmed, a sneak preview of what’s to come with three fantastic family shows announced and our Pay It Forward Fundraising Campaign has kicked off today!
Dates for the Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable’s annual Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival are announced today for 2023.
Mark October 1st – 15th 2023 in the diary for a two week long programme of theatre, dance, screenings, talk-back events and workshops for family and schools. There is something for everyone so watch out for the full programme announcement late August. We hope you can be part of the fun this autumn.
As always, Festival Curator Liam McCarthy’s aim is to ensure the festival continues to inspire and engage teachers, children and their families in the performing arts. As Limerick’s only arts festival dedicated to children, Liam is delighted to announce three exciting highlight performances as a snap shot of what’s to come this October.
When the Moon Spun Round presented by Fidget Feet & Ceol Connected | Lime Tree Theatre | Thursday 5th October | 6.30pm
Rothar presented by Branar | Belltable | Saturday 7th October | 1pm & 3pm
The Boy Who Talked to Dogs presented by Australian theatre company Slingsby | Lime Tree Theatre | Saturday 14th October | 2.30pm & 6.30pm
We also want to include as many children as possible in our annual Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival and to reach families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. Our Pay it Forward Fundraising Campaign will allow us to include more children and families this October, we hope you can support this fantastic initiative and donate. The full festival programme, including details of our On Tour programme will be available late August 2023. Keep updated with announcements by subscribing to our newsletter or keeping an eye on our social media platforms.
